Now you can install dependencies by running for example uv add pydantic which will add it to your dependency table. Note that uv defaults to >= rather than ~=, but you should probably use the latter (the difference is explained here). It’ll prevent you from getting accidentally upgraded to Pydantic v3! Let’s also add Ruff: uv add --dev ruff.
